Collection: Fattoria Tregole - Chianti Classico

Sophie Conte has revitalised her family vineyard at the highest altitudes (5-600m) of the Chianti Classico region in Tuscany, since taking over in 2014. Her wines span the generations of the family history at the estate with the Gran Selezione produced from lovingly restored 50 year old vines, while the "Chicchero" somewhere between a white and a rosé makes clever use of younger Sangiovese vines planted in 2019 (an experiment on vines too young to produce Chianti Classico, but deserving of its continued place in the range). The reds are approachable now but built to age, a bit like the estate itself which has produced wine since as far back as the year 1003.
