Collection: Domaine des Trois V - Chablis

Selecting a Chablis producer was one of our most challenging tasks, mostly because the quality of the region is so consistently high. Our trip to see Marjorie Molusson at Domaine des Trois V was the final visit to a Chablis producer scheduled for our 2024 scouting trip. We were sure we had found our favourite the previous day - how was it possible to improve upon the incredible selection we had just tasted? We wondered whether we should cancel our visit - after all, we didn't want to waste Marjorie's time.

We decided it was only fair to give her wines, from this relatively unknown Domain, a chance. As you have probably guessed, we found her wines thrilling, and are so excited to bring them to our Australian clients. It was a great lesson for us to never be satisfied until we'd tasted every glass we could!

Marjorie took over the Domain in 2013 and starting a journey to convert her family farm from intensive production models (which historically produced grapes they sold to larger producers), to one focused on quality and sustainability, selling under their own label. By the 2020 vintage they had been recognised by the French government as a level 3 HVE (High Environmental Value).

The name Trois V comes from the Domain's access to three Premier Cru vineyards of Vosgros, Vaugiraut and Vaucoupin. These are incredible wines all treated with slightly different winemaking techniques to allow their unique profiles to shine.  They are all stunning examples of Chablis.

Just over 4 hectares of their vines are ungrafted and aged between 35 and 60 years. Those grapes contribute to the 1er Cru Vosgros, 1er Cru Vaugiraut and Chablis Vielle Vignes wines.
