Domaine des Trois V 2023 Premier Cru Chablis "Vaugiraut" 750mL

This wine was selected for the prestigious 2025 Cave de Prestige by the Bourgogne Wine Board. We were lucky to place our order before the announcement!

Vaugiraut is a tiny sub-Climat of the larger Vosgros Premier Cru.  The Bourgogne Wine Board describes it as follows: "Although sitting on the left bank, this Climat has almost all the characteristics of the right bank. An exception not to be missed."

Covered in white stones and facing south and west - it catches a lot of sun and produces powerful, aromatic wines with persistent minerality. 

Marjorie's vines in this plot are 60 years old. She ages 50% of the wine in an amphora and 50% in stainless steel to best capture the creamier texture and riper fruit flavours. She prefers to drink this after 5-10 years but it is wonderful now in its youth.

The usual Chablis pairings won't do you wrong with this wine. Oysters, fish, cheese. Delicious!
