Esole - Sardinia

Based in Mamoiada, a mountain town in the Barbagia region of central Sardinia, 'Esole is a tiny estate with a big future.

Siblings Federica and Francesco Dessolis have taken over a family winemaking tradition while applying modern techniques to favour a fresher and more complex style than the giant Cannonau wines the region has been known for in the past.

Inheriting a 70 year old Cannonau vineyard planted by their grandfather and working with a younger vineyard of the exciting white variety Granatza give them an incredible source of fruit from which they produce excellent wines.

We look forward to watching the renown of this region and producer grow in the coming years.
