Shipping policy

DELIVERIES

We don't charge shipping and we usually get orders on the way within one or two business days. We're Sydney based, but are licensed to deliver anywhere in Australia.  We typically use Australia Post (or a specialist wine courier for our trade customers). Please be nice to whoever brings our goodies to you!

Generally we would expect orders to be delivered within a week unless there is a significant stretch of weather above 30 degrees celsius, in which case it may take longer. Any orders made during pre-arrival sales may take 1-4 months to be delivered, depending on where the boat is at the time, the risk from missiles or pirates in the red sea, and the state of waterfront industrial action in the ports of Italy, France and Australia. We'll give our best estimate, but we might be wrong.

If you need a delivery made by a certain date (for a party let's say), please let us know and we can tell you if it's realistic. The terms of our liquor licence forbid same day deliveries so if you need wine more urgently can we suggest purchasing some boring industrial wine from a large retail chain with an immediate delivery option? Or be more organised next time and stock your cellar with our range.

Deliveries cannot be received by a person under 18. If you look 25 or under, expect to be asked for ID because that's the law, and maybe you should take it as a compliment anyway because - let's face it - you're no spring chicken anymore.
