Sardinian Cannonau is the pinnacle of Italian Grenache. Cannonau from Mamoiada is the pinnacle of Cannonau. High altitude, ancient granite soils and bush vines create a complex and mineral wine that goes up against the best of global Grenache. 

This wine is from the younger of 'Esole's two Cannonau vineyards, planted in 2020 at 650m in altitude. It is farmed organically and uses natural yeast. It spends 10 months in a mixture of french oak and steel tank, with just 2000 bottles made.

Fresh red fruits, wonderful structure. Yum.
