Kuentz-Bas La 4ème Tour Riesling 2022 AOC Alsace 750mL

Produced from organic Riesling grapes, all hand harvested from vineyards on the hillsides of Husseren-les-Châteaux, at the culmination of the famous Alsace Wine Road, at an altitude of about 300 to 400 meters. East-South-East oriented, the soils are a mosaic made of clay, marl, limestone, sandstone and loess. The wine spends 10 months on its lees in very large 100 year old oak casks.

Tasting note from the Domaine: This wine opens on a beautiful expression of white flesh fruits mixed with citrus fruit notes and a fine mineral touch.
The palate expresses a beautiful limestone tension, the structure is straight and reflects the best expression of Riesling. Pair with grilled fish, shellfish or crustaceans, salmon with sorrel, garlic frog legs, or “Vol au vent”.
