Domaine des Trois V 2024 Premier Crus Chablis "La Résiliente" 750mL

2024 in Chablis saw some of the worst weather imaginable for a wine region. Frosts during flowering. Hailstorms from April through to July. Incessant rain and a relentless battle against mildew. Volumes were way down. Some producers will not release a 2024 vintage at all - particularly those who maintained fully organic production techniques.

For Domaine des Trois V, who own tiny amounts of vines in three Premier Cru vineyards, low volumes meant that it made no sense to make their usual three separate bottlings of Premier Cru (Vosgros, Vaucoupin, and Vaugiraut).

Instead, winemaker Marjorie Molusson has chosen to make a very special wine that blends each of those Premier Cru together. She calls is "La Résiliente" to reflect the resilience that was required to get through that year. And while there are very few bottles, this is an incredible wine. One third aged in stainless steel, one third in ampohra, and one third in oak, following the usual winemaking of the three usual cuvées. 

Elegant and mineral, with white flowers, pear, lemon zest. Remarkable balance and a long finish.
