Domaine de la Fontainerie 1989 Demi-Sec AOC Vouvray 750mL

As far as museum releases go, this might just be one of the oldest bottles of Vouvray, if not any wine, available by retail in Australia. The Domaine de La Fontainerie demi-secs have acidity that leaves a wonderful and literally mouth watering freshness on the palate.

At almost 40 years of age, this wine from 1989 is very much still alive and has a distinct porcini mushroom flavour on the palate thanks to all of that time in the Domaine's troglodytic cellar until it is shipped to Australia. 

A very special wine, available in very limited quantity.
