Champagne Godin et Filles 2014 Vieilles Vignes 750mL

This vintage Blanc de Blancs is from old Chardonnay vines (over 40 years old) from the outskirts of the town of Berru, east of Reims. It spends an extraordinary 10 years in the cellar before release (9 on lees), so it has a complex basket of aromas and character that only extended maturity can provide. It is extra-brut style with 3g/L dosage. Only 1000 bottles are made each year. 

White flowers, citrus, green and yellow fruits, and a smokey salinity all wait to be discovered for the mindful Champagne drinker. 

We have extremely limited stocks as most of the production gets snapped up by French merchants and restaurants.
