Cagliero "Ravera" Barolo 2014: This is a Barolo with a story. Ridiculous tannins finally mellowed toward the end of 2024 - making this wine's 10th birthday the moment it was ready to show its brilliance. Winemaker Stefano Cagliero described it as the Christmas present he had been waiting for.

Cecilia Monte "Serracapelli" Barbaresco 2015: Cecilia held back some cases of this wine because it was one of her favourite vintages. She was nice enough to let us have some now that it's showing at what she considers to be its best. 

Domaine de la Fontainerie Sec Vouvray "Coteau Les Brûlés" 2000: Chenin Blanc from Vouvray is famous for its ability to age and this wine demonstrates its potential. A wonderful nuttiness infuses the wine with the character of the caves it has rested in for the past 24 years. Still plenty of acid and fruit. A real marvel. Most of the bottles have watermarks on the glass from the constantly damp environment in the cave, but the labels are freshly applied.
