When we started Vino Cammino, it was out of the question to launch before ensuring we had an excellent example of Barolo, Barbaresco and Brunello. They are our favourite Italian reds and these three bottles from the wonderful 2019 vintage are all examples of those styles at their very best. Give them all plenty of air if opening this decade.

Cagliero Barolo "Terlo" 2019: Classic Barolo. Delicate violets and roses on the nose, with herbs, blackberries, crisp red cherries and a little leather joining on the palate. 

Cecilia Monte Barbaresco "Serracapelli" 2019: Barbaresco may be lesser known that Barolo and Brunello, but it is absolutely in the same rarefied air. This bottle has roses, bay leaves, red and black cherries and a tertiary profile of leather earth and balsamic already showing.

Il Colle di Carli Brunello 2019: This Brunello from Caterina Carli will wow any wine lover in your life. Best enjoyed slowly as the cornucopia of spices, flowers, fruits and more unfurl in your glass. A special wine that will last 50 years, but is wonderful now.
