Azienda Agricola Cagliero Barolo DOCG "Ravera" 2017 750mL

Barolo from the Ravera cru, due south of the Barolo township. 

2017 was a hot and dry vintage. The struggle led to some excellent quality, concentrated fruit and it shows in the wine.

Roses, cherries and brambly blackberry jam. Some tertiary, earthy, tobacco notes. A really classic expression of Barolo.
